Description	:	Ethel Poston Wise, 95, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away, Friday, March 2, 2012 at the McLeod Hospice House. Mrs. Wise was born in Hannah, the daughter of the late Lillie Creel Poston and Maxie Colen Poston. Mrs. Wise was a devoted member of Stone Chapel Church in Hannah and was the oldest member at the time of her passing. She was a graduate of Hannah High School and was the last surviving member of the class of 1935. Survivors include: two daughters; Connie (Burns) Wise Gaskins of Lake City, Kathy (Bill) Wise Bridges of Florence, one son; Jerry Wayne (Lynn) Wise of Florence; five grandchildren, Tamra (Craig) Gaskins Floyd of Olanta, Gregory Burns Gaskins of Florence, Rufus Walt (Becky) Gaskins of Lake City, Josh (Keri)Wise of Lexington and Tyler Bradley King of Washington, D. C. and nine great-grandchildren, Emily Floyd, Emory Floyd, Tori Gaskins, Ally Gaskins, Matt Gaskins, Burns Gaskins, Claire Gaskins, Landon Wise and Kaylee Wise. She was predeceased by four brothers, Leo Poston, Sam Poston, Clyde Poston and Jim Poston, and four sisters Gladys Hayes, Myrtle Poston, Hannah Powell and Lula Turner. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P. M. Sunday at Stone Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Hannah. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the wonderful caregivers who have given their love and care to her during the past few years . The family will be at her home at 2004W. Highway 378, Pamplico, prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Stone Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1996 W. Highway 378, Pamplico, S. C. 29583
