Bruorton of Andrews, died at 11:15 pm Saturday at a Georgetown hospital where she had been a patient since Tuesday night. She had been in failing health for some time. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Monday at Trinity Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Woodrow Ward, the Rev. W. C. Stackhouse, and the Rev. R. W. Mrs. Bruorton, the former Miss Ethel Rogerson, was born April 20, 1885 in Andrews, and was a daughter of the late Asa Rogerson and the late Mrs. Sarah Moore Rogerson. She had spent her entire life in Andrews, and was a charter member of the Trinity Methodist Church, and of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the church. She was also a member of the ladies' Bible Class and of the Lily Flowers Missionary Society of the church. A member of the Rosemary Garden Club, Mrs. Bruorton was actively interested in various civic and social work of the town, as well as all religious activity of her church. Her husband, Daniel Oliver Bruorton, died November 11, 1918. Surviving are two sons, Daniel O. Bruorton Jr. of Rock Hill and J. Herman Bruorton of Andrews; two daughters, Mrs. Alton B. Bishop of Jamestown and Mrs. J. Howard Ranson of Andrews; a grandson, Chester Arnold, Jr., who has made his home with Mrs. Bruorton since the death of his mother. Mrs. Louise Bruorton Arnold in 1947; seven other grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. E. K. McKnight of Andrews and Mrs. J. J.
