Description	:	WATERVILLE -- E. Sylvia (Brown) Ladd died on Saturday, March 10, 2007, in Waterville. She was born in Richmond on March 25, 1915, the daughter of Alfred and Naomi (Marson) Brown. She graduated from Mexico High School, class of 1933. On July 3, 1936, she married Arthur E. Ladd and together shared many years until his death in April 1992. She resided in Waterville for more than 65 years. She truly enjoyed being a homemaker all of her married life and was always willing to help her family when needed. She was born in Richmond on March 25, 1915, the daughter of Alfred and Naomi (Marson) Brown. She graduated from Mexico High School, class of 1933. On July 3, 1936, she married Arthur E. Ladd and together shared many years until his death in April 1992. She resided in Waterville for more than 65 years. She truly enjoyed being a homemaker all of her married life and was always willing to help her family when needed. She was a member of Pleasant Street Methodist Church for 60 years. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Madge Libby and Shirley Hurley; and one brother, Clyde "Brownie" Brown. She will be sadly missed by her daughter and special son-in-law, Marilyn and Perry Mosher of Winslow; eight brothers, Alton of Randolph, Darryl of Livermore Falls, Neal of Bowdoinham, George of Richmond, Austin of South Gardiner, Donald of Gardiner, Gerald of Richmond and Charlie of Whitefield; three sisters, Madeline Ladd of Oakland, Norma Brown of South Portland and Arlene Geddes of Fort Fairfield; sister-in-law Rita Brown of Dixfield; four grandchildren, Leslie Mosher and his wife, Janet, of Sidney, Lisa Healy and her husband, John, of Manchester, N.H., Scott Mosher and his wife, Debbie, of Waterville, and Lori Smith and her husband, John, of Waterville; six great-grandchildren, Cara Healy, Lucas Mosher, Jeffrey and Matthew Bady, and Derek and Christina Mosher. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 16 at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield. Spring burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterville.
