Description	:	Ethelle Emeline Geren Goodman 83, went to her heavenly home after a lengthy illness from strokes on April 19, 2022, at her house surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Bobby Joe Goodman. Her parents Joe Cephas and Edna Geren, father and mother-in-law Robert and Irene Goodman, brother Rick Geren, brother-in-law Dennis Burns, and best friend Rebecca Woody. Read More	Ethelle Emeline Geren Goodman 83, went to her heavenly home after a lengthy illness from strokes on April 19, 2022, at her house surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Bobby Joe Goodman. Her parents Joe Cephas and Edna Geren, father and mother-in-law Robert and Irene Goodman, brother Rick Geren, brother-in-law Dennis Burns, and best friend Rebecca Woody. She is survived by her two daughters, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a brother, a sister, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by a best friend and her son. She worked more than thirty years at Prospect School cafeteria where she retired. She also worked at Frazier Manufactory, Burlington Woolen Mill, and Dooley Drug Store. She was a Christian and charter member of Tasso Baptist Church. She was a devoted Children's Sunday school and Vacation Bible School teacher. Some of the hobbies she enjoyed were cooking, watching movies, hosting parties, and spending time with family and friends. She was known for the care, love, and laughter that she shared with everyone around her. Family and friends will greatly miss her presence. The graveside service will be held on Saturday April 23, 2022, at 4:00 at Fort Hill Cemetery. Officiating the graveside service will be Pastor Tim Woody along with Pastor Johnathon Powell. Companion Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Instead of flowers the family has requested a donation be made to Tasso Baptist Church located at 164 Old Charlestion Road, Cleveland, TN 37312; St. Jude's Hospital; or the American Stroke Association.
