Description	:	Mrs. Oyan of Baltic Dies Thursday Afternoon Mrs. E.J. Oyan of Baltic Passed away Thursday afternoon of last week at the Dell Rapids Hospital, where she had been for treatment for some time. As a last resort a surgical operation was performed Tuesday, but the disease could not be checked. Mrs. Oyan was born on the old homestead west of Baltic where she lived up to the time of her death. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Lee, were pioneers of that section. She was 49 years old. Surviving her are her husband and six children, Olive, Joseph, Agnes, Blanche, May and Hilmoe. Joseph who is attending Luther College at Decorah, Iowa, was home for the funeral. Mrs. O.H. Lee, mother of the deceased who lives with the Oyans, also survives, as do four sisters and one brother. The funeral was held Monday at the Old Nidaros Church in Baltic. Rev. Henry Solum of Baltic, assisted by Rev. B.J. Rothnem of Dell Rapids, officiated. Burial was in the East Nidaros Cemetery.
