Read More	Ashes of Former Albion Woman Now Repose at Rose Hill A simple religious service held Tuesday afternoon at one-thirty at Rose Hill cemetery and attended only by relatives and a few friends accompanied the laying away of the ashes of Mrs. Charles Cotterman who died at her home in Manilla, P.I., the evening of March 12. Rev. Joseph Knierim, who has just closed his pastorate of the Albion Congregational church, conducted the service which consisted of the reading of a scripture passage, a brief sketch and a prayer at the conclusion of which the receptacle containing the ashes of the departed one was placed in a vault constructed in the base of the monument. The monument, simple but attractive in design, was then placed over the base, sealing the vault. Etta R. Morehead was born in Jo Davis county, Illinois, October 14, 1866, coming with her parents to Nebraska in 1884. She was united in marriage to Charles Cotterman on October 17, 1888. In 1900 Mr. Cotterman was appointed Director of Posts for the Philippine Islands and in October of that year she went to Manilla, where she resided until her death. She left beside her husband, one son and one daughter, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of Manilla, one sister, Mrs. Frank Mansfield of Albion, and two brothers, Ebe Morehead of Hilgard, Oregon; and B.
