Born on November 22, 1930 in St. Stephen, NB, he was the son of the late Hazen and Beatrice (Adell) Frost and was the loving husband for 54 years to Roberta (Wadman) Frost. Read More	Peacefully at Rocmaura Nursing Home surrounded by family, Eugene Adelbert Frost passed away on September 25, 2017. Born on November 22, 1930 in St. Stephen, NB, he was the son of the late Hazen and Beatrice (Adell) Frost and was the loving husband for 54 years to Roberta (Wadman) Frost. Eugene began his education at the School for the Deaf in Halifax which brought him closer to his deaf community and sparked his passion for volunteering and fundraising within that community. He was the past president of the NB Deaf Curling Team, travelling all over Canada and the Territories to represent New Brunswick in championship matches. He loved curling, which was his passion which he played frequently at his home club, Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club; however he certainly enjoyed watching many other sports. He was an avid bowler and a member of the Eastern Bowling Association of the Deaf for over 25 years. One of his proudest moments was receiving the City of Saint John Athletic Achievement Award in 1991. He loved the outdoors and rural settings and worked as a woodsman with lumber, from the time he was a very young man before he became a baker at the Dominion Stores, a position he held for several years before retiring. Eugene was a very well-liked man who chose to keep his circle of friends close. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his beloved wife Roberta, he is survived by his sister Mary Thorne, half-sister Jane Stevens and special brother Wesley Anthony, niece Elaine and nephews Peter and Blair, as well as Aunt Berla Campbell. Along with his parents, Eugene was predeceased by his half-sister Karen Frost-Buchanan. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 27 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held at Forest Hills Baptist Church on Thursday at 2pm with a private family interment to take place the following day at the Second Falls Cemetery on Route 770 in Second Falls, NB. Memorial Donations can be placed towards a charity of your choice.
