Description	:	Eugene A. Anderson, son of Ted and Gladys (Kinzley) Anderson, died on January 22, 2011 at Sanford Health Center in Sioux Falls. Gene was born on February 15, 1925, at the family home near Montrsoe, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John, and sisters, Ruby and June. He went to country school and then graduated from Salem High School. On December 15, 1948 he married Grace Wulff and they began their married life on the farm in the Salem/Montrose area. Anderson, son of Ted and Gladys (Kinzley) Anderson, died on January 22, 2011 at Sanford Health Center in Sioux Falls. Gene was born on February 15, 1925, at the family home near Montrsoe, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John, and sisters, Ruby and June. He went to country school and then graduated from Salem High School. On December 15, 1948 he married Grace Wulff and they began their married life on the farm in the Salem/Montrose area. He spent his entire life farming, having a special love of feeding out his cattle. He continued to live on the family farm after he retired in 1990. He was a lifetime member of the Ramsey Baptist Church, serving as a trustee and on the church cemetery board. During his lifetime he enjoyed playing pool with his grandchildren, rook, playing horseshoes, fishing, bowling, and eating ice cream. He loved music and sang in the church choir and in the men's quartet for many years. Most of all he loved his family. Gene is survived by; his wife, Grace of Salem; his children, Karen (Dean) Parker of Morton, IL, Pat (Dick) Turner of Brookings, SD, Deb (Kevin) Weber of Cary, IL, and Jeff (Marcia) Anderson of Salem, SD; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; his sister, Lavonne Mader of Montrose; and his brother Elwood Anderson of Sioux Falls. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 26 at Ramsey Baptist Church, rural Montrose. Visitation will begin at 9 am on Tuesday with family present from 6 – 8 pm at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem.
