Eugene Gerald "Gene" Kremer, was born May 3, 1943 at Milford, Nebraska to Gerald and Myrtle (Erb) Kremer, the 2nd of 4 children and passed away, Friday, November 28, 2014, at home, surrounded by his family at the age of 71 years 6 months and 25 days. As a young boy he attended country school near Milford and graduated with the class of 1960 from high school at Staples, MN. On May 9, 1964, he was united in marriage to Penny Pollard at Milford and to this union two sons, Scott and Kirk were born. After graduation, Gene returned to the Milford area and began a long electrical career as he went to work for his cousin Loren as an electrician. In the mid-1960's Gene began his own business "Gene's Electric" which he has operated for more than 45 years. Gene was a loving and caring person with a good heart for doing special things for his family, friends and customers. In his spare time he enjoyed going hunting, fishing until his health failed. He was able to play golf up until just before his death. Gene is survived by wife, Penny, Milford, sons and daughter-in-law, Scott Kremer, Ashton, MD, Kirk and Robin Kremer, Milford, grandchildren, Kerres Robinson and fiancé, Stan Madlock, Kourtney Robinson, all of Lincoln, Sydni Kremer, Milford, ReAnna Kremer, CA, 3 great-grandchildren, Jalayah, LaShavya, Stanford Madlock, III and one on the way, brothers and sisters-in-law, Claude and Marva Kremer, Jack and Bonnie Kremer, all of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Tim and DeAnne Kremer, Hazel Green, WI, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pam and Dean Schendt, Ashland, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his parents-in-law, Dr. Jesse and Carol Pollard.
