Read More	2 AREA RESIDENTS DIE FROM INJURIES IN AUTO MISHAPS Injuries from two separate auto accidents resulted in the deaths of two residents on Monday Eugene Holzer, 25, 2530 Rosser Ave., died early Monday afternoon of injuries received in a fall from a water truck Sunday. According to Burleigh County authorities, Holzer slipped while attempting to jump aboard a water truck which was sprinkling down a dirt racing track three miles east of Bismarck. The driver of the truck apparently did not see Holzer and the truck rolled over his body. The death will not be counted in the state's highway death toll. The second fatality was 15-year-old Richard Primeaux, Fort Yates, who died Monday morning of head injuries received in a two-car accident early Sunday morning. The car in which Primeaux was riding with three other Fort Yates teenagers was struck from the rear by a car driven by Donald Demarrias, 24, Little Eagle, S.D. The other injured teenagers are Marjorie Grey Bear, 17, listed in serious condition with head injuries in a Bismarck hospital, Cheryl Buffalo Boy, 16, listed in satisfactory condition with a back injury, and Louella Goudraeux, 18, listed in good condition with a leg injury. The teenagers' car was traveling east on Highway 6 two miles east of Selfridge, when it was hit by the Demarrias car, authorities say. Demarrias pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated in the Standing Rock traffic court Monday and was fined $46. According to Standing Rock reservation officials, further charges are pending while the case is being reviewed by the U.S. attorney in Fargo. The death raised the 1970 state road toll to 51, compared to 67 one year ago. The Same issue: FUNERAL SERVICE SET FOR EUGENE HOLZER Eugene J. Holzer, 25, died Monday afternoon in a local hospital from injuries received in an accident Sunday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne's Catholic Church with Rev. Arnold P. Spain officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. The pallbearers will be John Erling, Roger Livdahl, Ronald Lamphear, Norman Tietz, Dick Eastman and Leonard Vogel. Mr. Holzer was born Feb. 3, 1945, at Bismarck, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Holzer. He grew up and was educated in Bismarck and served in the armed forces in Korea. On June 25, 1966, he was married to Barbara Schmidt at Linton and the couple has lived in Bismarck since then. He was manager off Public Finance Co. He was a member of St. Anne's Church, Rough Riders Car Club and the Bismarck Motorcycle Club. He leaves his parents in Yakima, Wash., his wife and one daughter, Shannon Marie, at home, four brothers, Anton and Robert, Troy, Mont., and Patrick and Donald, Yakima, and three sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Jolene) Steiger, Bismarck, Patricia and Donna, Yakima.
