A memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Fri Dec. 2, at Anthony Catholic Church with the Rev. James Baird presiding. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Rizzolo was born Sept. 29, 1933, in Atwood to Antonio and Margaret (Conti) Rizzolo. He graduated from Sterling High School, and went on to earn his associate's degree as an engineering technician, He married Florence Engraff on May 16, 1953, at Saint Anthony's in Sterling. He worked for Public Service Company as an associate engineer for 41 years and was a lifetime farmer. Mr. Rizzolo was a lifetime member of the Sterling Elks Club, a board member of the No. 1 Canal, board member for the Sterling No. 1 Irrigation Ditch Co. and a member of Saint Anthony Catholic Church. He enjoyed traveling throughout North America and Europe, hunting, cooking and wine-making. Mr. Rizzolo is survived by his wife, Florence Rizzolo; daughters, Shirley Jones, Sharon Rizzolo, and Sheila Kain; sister Mary Kaiser of Sterling; five grandchildren, Brandon DeRosa, Kendall Belville, Ashton Belville, Tessa Kain and Katie Kain. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Rizzolo; brother, James Rizzolo; and sister Helen Man. In lieu of flowers, dona tions may be made to Saint Anthony's Parking Lot Fund
