Description	:	"Mrs. Eunice Clark, who has been sick with pneumonia, died Sunday, Nov. 3d. [1918] Eunice (Aldrich) Clark, daughter of Noble and Emily Aldrich, was born April 13, 1848, in Fairfield. Her parents moved to Troy when she was three years old, living there until she was 18 years of age when they moved to Glover, to the farm where E. L. Alexander now lives. She taught school for several years was married to Simeon N. Clark Nov. 11, 1871, who died Sept. 27, 1916. Four children were born of this union, Effie Lu, who died Nov. 12, 1901, Mrs.... Her parents moved to Troy when she was three years old, living there until she was 18 years of age when they moved to Glover, to the farm where E. L. Alexander now lives. She taught school for several years was married to Simeon N. Clark Nov. 11, 1871, who died Sept. 27, 1916. Four children were born of this union, Effie Lu, who died Nov. 12, 1901, Mrs. Myrtle Anderson, who lives on the home farm, Walter Vernon, who died May 22, 1905, and S. Noble Clark. She had lived in the home where she died nearly 47 years. When a child she gave her life to Christ, joining the M. E. church at Troy, when 14 years of age, afterward joining the M. E. church at Glover. She also was a member of the Community church at Glover and a member of the Relief corps. She was an earnest faithful Christian, to whom her Saviour was a blessed power in her life, a power of strength and consolation. She was ever striving to make a happy home, she ever reached out a helping hand to her neighbors and friends. Always anxious that God's work should prosper, doing all she could to help in the Sunday school, and as long as strength permitted she was present at the weekly prayer meetings. In passing out from this life it was, to her, simply going home to be with Jesus and the loved ones gone before. She leaves to mourn her loss a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Anderson, and son, S. Noble Clark; a granddaughter, Miss Lillian Taylor of Spencer, Mass., a grandson Melvin C. Anderson, who is in the navy, and three other grandchildren, Malcolm, Reba and Robert Clark, also a sister, Mrs. E. W. Clark of Brockton. Mass., and three brothers, besides many other relatives and a large circle of friends. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved relatives. Services were held at the home Wednesday, Rev. John Kimball officiating and burial was beside her husband and children at Riverside cemetery." (Orleans County Monitor, 11/13/1918)
