Obituary in Humansville Star Leader July 11, 1985 Coy, Eunice Ann Services for Eunice Ann Coy of Circle Drive Apartments, Humansville were held Saturday, July 6, 1985, in the Murray Chapel at Humansville. Mrs. Coy, 78, died Thursday, July 4, 1985, in Citizens Memorial Hospital at Bolivar. She was born Feb. 27, 1907, in Rich Hill to Frank and Susan Burgess. She was reared in Kansas City and was married to Simon Coy. Mr. Coy was a firefighter for the Kansas City Fire Department for about 25 years. Upon his retirement in 1963 they moved to a farm near Humansville, where Mr. Coy died in 1974, near the time of their 50th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Coy is survived by her daughter, Juanita of Kansas City; a sister Juanita Gilmore of Blue Springs; three grandchildren: Marcia Haseltine of Springfield, Dr. Kent Neubert and Douglas Neubert, both of Casper, Wyo.; and two great-grandchildren: Conor, son of the Haseltines, and Jessica, daughter of the Doug Neuberts. The Rev. Chuck Lee officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Dr. Kent Neubert, Douglas Neubert, Arthur Haseltine, Cecil Truitt, Tom Burgess and Brent Burgess. Burial was in Robinson Cemetery west of Weaubleau.
