Description	:	Eunice McConnell, 98, of Iowa Falls, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at her home. Eunice M. McConnell was born in Iowa Falls to Mattie (Ingham) and John Lenhart on May 3, 1917. She grew up southwest of Iowa Falls and attended school at Iowa Falls and Eldora. She married Lawrence W. McConnell in August of 1938. During this marriage, two children were born, Don McConnell of Iowa Falls and Sharon Peters of Schleswig. Read More	Eunice McConnell, 98, of Iowa Falls, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at her home. Eunice M. McConnell was born in Iowa Falls to Mattie (Ingham) and John Lenhart on May 3, 1917. She grew up southwest of Iowa Falls and attended school at Iowa Falls and Eldora. She married Lawrence W. McConnell in August of 1938. During this marriage, two children were born, Don McConnell of Iowa Falls and Sharon Peters of Schleswig. Eunice helped her husband while he was employed with Conoco and also when they owned the Texaco distributorship. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and horseback riding in her younger years and later she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Eunice loved her dogs and especially her best friend of 14 years, Trisha. She is survived by her son Don of Iowa Falls, daughter Sharon of Schleswig, 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, good friend Mary Palmer, other relatives and her best friend, Trisha. She was preceded in death by one sister Ruth, one half brother Carl West and her husband. Private Funeral Service will be held. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Friday, February 12th, at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. Obituary & photo published by Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.
