Description	:	Obituary: "Eunice Smith Bell was born in Guilford County North Carolina, March 9, 1817, departed this life November 26, 1897 aged 81 years, 8 months, 17 days. When about 12 years of age she emigrated with her parents to Union County, Indiana. On June 12, 1839 she was married to Alexander Smith who died December 26, 1846 (should be 1849). To this union was born five children all of whom have preceded her to the Spirit Land except the youngest daughter Mrs. Catherine S. Miller who is present today and with who she has made her... Read More	Obituary: "Eunice Smith Bell was born in Guilford County North Carolina, March 9, 1817, departed this life November 26, 1897 aged 81 years, 8 months, 17 days. When about 12 years of age she emigrated with her parents to Union County, Indiana. On June 12, 1839 she was married to Alexander Smith who died December 26, 1846 (should be 1849). To this union was born five children all of whom have preceded her to the Spirit Land except the youngest daughter Mrs. Catherine S. Miller who is present today and with who she has made her home for the past nine years. In 1877 she was again married to Thomas Bell of Morning Sun, Iowa, where and with whom she lived happily for ten years. He ____ was called Home November 26, 1887 just ten years from that date(?) she too fell asleep in Jesus. She became a member of the Yarmouth Baptist Church at Burlington, Iowa, October 1883 and continued in that faith until death. Thus has passed away a noble woman. Once whose life has been full of both sunshine and shadow, the shadow of death has many times crossed the threshold of her home. Two sisters and one brother are among the departed who we feel has (sic) welcomed her spirit home. She is gone and we mourn her loss for we miss her, but out loss is her gain, and we feel she is at rest. Yea saith the spirit that they may rest from their labors and their works do follow them.”
