Born November 25, 1937 in Loris, Mrs. Rabon was the daughter of the late Rev. Lester Stevens and the late Thelma Irene Hardee Stevens. She was a production worker at AVX in Myrtle Beach for 33 years. Mrs. Rabon was a member of New Home Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Mr. Joe Bill Rabon, and her brothers, Cleo Stevens and Donald Stevens. Survivors include: her children, Renee Rabon Ward and husband Buddy of Myrtle Beach, Pam Rabon- Clark and husband Chris of Columbia and Joe Bill Rabon, Jr. of Loris; her grandchildren, Randy (Amie) Lee, Rebecca (Phil) Tarsi, Paula (Chad) LaGrange, Justin (Lacey) Miller, Whitney (Christo) Courban, and Joe Bill (Taia) Rabon, III; and her great-grandchildren, Camden Lee, Philip Tarsi, Anthony Tarsi, Aaron LaGrange, Kaitlyn LaGrange, Todd Miller, Jake Miller, Parker Reavis, Atticus Courban, Cameron Rabon, and Jade Rabon. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, October 2, 2017 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Cliff Mixon and Rev. Roger Black officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, Coastal Carolina Chapter, P. O. Box 80459, Charleston, SC 29416.
