Born on October 19, 1928, in Oldtown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Barnes) Teter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Winfield Sr., in 2005; her sister, Ruth Winfield; her brothers, Clarence “June” Teter, and Jacob S. Teter. Read More	Eva Ann Winfield October 19, 1928 - January 10, 2015 RIDGELEY WVa.-Eva Ann (Teter) Winfield, 86, of Ridgeley WVa., passed away on Saturday January 10, 2015 at her home. Born on October 19, 1928, in Oldtown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Barnes) Teter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Winfield Sr., in 2005; her sister, Ruth Winfield; her brothers, Clarence “June” Teter, and Jacob S. Teter. Eva was a member of Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Parish and a member of EWTN. She loved genealogy and painting. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her five children, Mary Carol Gray and husband Michael, Joseph Eugene Winfield, Jr. and wife Shelva Jean, Joyce Ann Miller, Timothy Mark Winfield and wife Isabelle, and David Scott Winfield and wife B. Melanie; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Wednesday, January 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Mountains Saints Peter and Paul Shrine on Thursday, January 15, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Maryland State Veteran's Cemetery, Rocky Gap. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Labre Indian School, P.O. Box 216, Ashland, Montana 59004, C/O Curtis Yarlott, in honor of her long and continued support of educational endeavors. Condolences may be left for the family at www.scarpellifh.com.
