The following remarks were made by Rev. T. L. Paine at the funeral. We have met to pay the lalst respects to one our mortals, who has but recently exchanged a life of suffering for a crown of immortal on the other side of the river. Read More	Parents: Jacob Keller and Eva Brant Keller Shank----On the 28th of August 1876, Mrs. Eva Shank, wife of Rev. Daniel Shank, aged 64 years four months and 24 days. I now refer to our beloved mother in Israel---Mother Eva Shanks, consorts of Rev. B. Shanks, who departed this life in the triumph of the living faith, August 28, 1876. She was born August 4, 1812. In May 1832, she was united in the holy state of matrimony to her now bereaved husband. In September 1842, she felt herself lost and condemned sinner in the sight of God. convicted of sin, she sought for salvation and in June 1843 she realized the pardon of all sin. In the same fall she united in church with the U. B. C.--to which from that time until her decease, she was conscientious Christian life. She was the mother of 12 children, 6 sons and 6 daughters, 5 of whom are on the other shore, having died in infancy "of such," Jesus said, "Is the Kingdom of Heaven:--the other seven having a determination to meet mother in Heaven.
