Description	:	Eva Frances "Frannie" Wright, 75, of Skidmore, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Nodaway Nursing Home in Maryville, Mo., surrounded by her family. Frannie was born October 30, 1938, the sixth child to Burman and Delma (Albright) Wright in Skidmore. She attended all 12 years of school at Skidmore and graduated from high school in 1956. Read More	Eva Frances "Frannie" Wright, 75, of Skidmore, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Nodaway Nursing Home in Maryville, Mo., surrounded by her family. Frannie was born October 30, 1938, the sixth child to Burman and Delma (Albright) Wright in Skidmore. She attended all 12 years of school at Skidmore and graduated from high school in 1956. Over the years, she kept in close contact with her classmates. She then attended Gard Business University in St. Joseph. After working in St. Joseph at National Bellas Hess for a short time, she returned to the Skidmore community. In the following years, she owned and operated the local produce house and later the town laundromat. She was employed for two years at the Skidmore Hardware Store. She was tax collector and clerk for City of Skidmore and Monroe Township, treasurer for the city for 11 years and also of Smith Cemetery, secretary and board member of Burr Oak Cemetery. Frannie was a dedicated member of the Skidmore United Methodist Church since 1947. She truly was a servant for the Lord. She served in numerous categories: treasurer, custodian and many, many more areas. She had meticulous bookkeeping skills. Her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews were the love and joy of her life. All of them have such fond memories of their time with her. Frannie was a most devoted fan to the NBA basketball games, especially Oklahoma City Thunder. She could give you all their stats. Kevin Durant (named MVP) was a favorite person to her, mainly because he was so good to his mother. Frannie loved music, crossword puzzles and plastic canvassing. She covered many bricks from the old school house and the church and gave them all away. She assisted many senior citizens and our family members too, in the community. She had a great love for cats and dogs. Her family was the most important thing to her as she was most important to all of us. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burman and Delma Wright; brother, Karl Wright; nephew, Rick McIntyre; and brothers-in-law, Bill Coston and Jerry Ungles. Survivors are her brother, Dean (Ruth) Wright, Skidmore; sisters, Kathryn Coston, Maryville, Mo.; Wilma (Winfred) McIntyre, Burlington Junction, Mo.; Mildred (Roy Dale) Dozier, Hutchinson, Kan.; and June Ungles, St. Joseph; many nieces, nephews, great, and great-great-nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and neighbors. A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, July, Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 28th, Skidmore United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Burr Oak Cemetery, Skidmore. Her body will lie in state 1-2 p.m. Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Skidmore United Methodist Church or Burr Oak Cemetery.
