Fritz, 84, Kokomo, died at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at her residence. She was born May 28, 1922, in Kokomo, to Delmar and Hazel (Crousore) Hogg. She married Wilbur F. Fritz on Dec. 25, 1940, who preceded her in death in 1959. She retired from Cuneo Press after 18 years of service. She was known around town as "The Bicycle Lady," and she also loved to read and sew. Survivors include her son, John H. and wife Anna Fritz, Miami County; daughter-in-law, Rosetta Fritz, Kokomo; eight grandchildren, Letha W. Fritz, Logansport, John A. and Gina Fritz, Pyrmont, Shannon D. Fritz, and John Michael and Keri Evans, all of Peru, David W. Fritz, and John Eric and Michelle Wagner, all of Kokomo, Rose and Ron Daniels, Kentucky, and Ramona Wagner, Indianapolis; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Henry Hogg, Kokomo; and sisters, Fran Ferrell, North Carolina, and Frieda Smith, Georgia. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, a son, David L. Fritz; and an infant son and daughter; grandson, Daniel Fritz; and two brothers. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., with Pastor David Ross officiating. Cremation will follow services.
