Description	:	Funeral services for Eva L. Klipphahn, 72, were held Saturday, July 28 at the United Methodist Church in Creighton at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Lloyd W. Anderson conducted the service with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Peter Sajjadi, Pierre Sajjadi, Max Lee, Daryl Halsey, Ervin Engdahl and Larry Turner. Eva L. Klipphahn, the daughter of Ernest and Ella (Mahan) Freeman, was born April 7, 1912 at Long Pine. Klipphahn, the daughter of Ernest and Ella (Mahan) Freeman, was born April 7, 1912 at Long Pine. She died Tuesday, July 24 at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha at the age of 72 years, three months and 17 days. She attended grade school in Tilden and high school in Verdel. Eva was united in marriage to Alvin T. Klipphahn on May 4, 1931. To this union two children were born, Glenn and Delores. They farmed near Center and later moved to a farm near Norfolk. In 1945 they moved from the farm to the city of Norfolk. In 1957 they moved to DeKalb, Ill., where she was employed at the University of Illinois State College. In 1965 they moved to Omaha, where she worked at the University of Omaha until retiring. Survivors include her husband, Alvin; son, Glenn A. of Omaha; daughter, Mrs. Peter (Delores) Sajjadi, Pittsburgh, Penn.; three grandsons; two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Willave) Gerths of Niobrara and Mrs. Bruce (Elvira) Halsey of Norfolk; three brothers, Valley Freeman of Niobrara, Ernest Freeman of Cortland, Ill. and John Freeman of Elkhart, Ind. and several nieces and nephews.
