Mrs. Oberton Moberly, 1901–1928 Mrs. Oberton Moberly, 27, of 224 Ankeny Street, Waterloo, Iowa, died of peritonitis at 6:50 a.m. today (June 23, 1928) at a local hospital. Eva Lena Ishman was born March 10, 1901, at Auburn, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Ishman. At the age of 15 she moved with her parents to West Union, Iowa. She was married on June 27, 1919, at Fayette, Iowa, to Fay D. Hand, who in Feb. 1920, was instantly killed in a railroad accident at Omaha, Neb. She was married a second time on Oct. 11, 1922, at West Union to Oberton Moberly. They lived at West Union for a short time and then moved to Oelwein, Iowa. After 18 months there, they moved to Waterloo, where they have since resided. Mrs. Moberly was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving besides her parents and husband are one daughter, Faye Evelyn Hand, 8, and one son, Henry Lewis Moberly, 5, both at home; four brothers, J. B. Ishman of Remer, Minn.; Albert Ishman of West Union; Clarence Ishman of Fayette, and William Ishman of Auburn; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Ludrick of West Union, and Mrs. Chester Stannard, 405 Fifteenth Street West, Waterloo. The body will be at Petersen Bros.' Mortuary till 10 a.m. Monday. It will then be taken to West Union, where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the home of the parents, in charge of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will be at West Union.
