Description	:	Eva Tews Eva Tews, 82, of Bloomfield, died January 26, 2002 at the Bloomfield Care Center. She was born Dec. 16, 1919 in Davis County to Schuyler Albert and Mabel Lillian Lyons Willier. She married Ralph Wesley Tews Oct. 19, 1942 in Queen City, Missouri. A resident of Davis County all her life, she had been a clerk at O'Briant's Drugstore in Bloomfield. She was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church, serving as deaconess and later an elder of the church. Read More	Eva Tews Eva Tews, 82, of Bloomfield, died January 26, 2002 at the Bloomfield Care Center. She was born Dec. 16, 1919 in Davis County to Schuyler Albert and Mabel Lillian Lyons Willier. She married Ralph Wesley Tews Oct. 19, 1942 in Queen City, Missouri. A resident of Davis County all her life, she had been a clerk at O'Briant's Drugstore in Bloomfield. She was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church, serving as deaconess and later an elder of the church. She was also a member of the Christian Women's Fellowship, holding several offices and serving on the Regional CWF Commission for three years, which serves North and South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. She was also a member of the So and Sew Club. She is survived by her husband; a son Stephen Tews of Bloomfield; a daughter Susan Beary of Lovilia; five grandchildren; and a brother Wilbur Willier of Lancaster, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers Carl in infancy and John and Guy Willier. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor James H. Wakelin officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday with the family present from 7-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Bloomfield Christian Church Scholarship Fund. ______________________________________________________ "Obituary provided by Annette Tews."
