Description	:	Mrs. Eva M. Locy, 86, Route 4, died at her home Friday morning, September 24, 1982. She was born in North Richland Township on April 13, 1896, the daughter of John and Mary (Fisher) Hammon. In 1916, she married Roscoe Locy, who preceded her in death in 1972. Surviving are a son, Robert D. Locy, Route 4, two grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Boesling, Swanton. Preceding her in death were three brothers, John F., Raymond and Walter Hammon; and a sister, Mrs. Flora Leach. She lived all of her life in the township where she was... Read More	Mrs. Eva M. Locy, 86, Route 4, died at her home Friday morning, September 24, 1982. She was born in North Richland Township on April 13, 1896, the daughter of John and Mary (Fisher) Hammon. In 1916, she married Roscoe Locy, who preceded her in death in 1972. Surviving are a son, Robert D. Locy, Route 4, two grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Boesling, Swanton. Preceding her in death were three brothers, John F., Raymond and Walter Hammon; and a sister, Mrs. Flora Leach. She lived all of her life in the township where she was a member of Independence United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women, the Defiance Senior Citizens and the Senior Center. She was a former Red Cross volunteer and member of the Gleaners. The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Mast and Mock Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Dye officiating. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be given to the church.
