Description	:	Milldhall, Eva Pearle (Joudrey) - 95, passed away on February 27, 2013 at Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg, where she had resided for the past 18 months. She had been in failing health for the past month. Born September 30, 1917 in Fredericton, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Frank Edward Schleyer and Fannie Elizabeth (Grass) Schleyer, the sixth of nine children. Born September 30, 1917 in Fredericton, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Frank Edward Schleyer and Fannie Elizabeth (Grass) Schleyer, the sixth of nine children. Eva was a spiritual person, and especially enjoyed Pastor Lake and congregation of Blessed Hope Baptist Church, in her later years. She loved flowers, and had a green thumb - probably as a result of spending time with her Aunt Ada who owned and operated a greenhouse in Fredericton when Eva was young. Plants seemed to know she loved them, and prospered under her attention. She devoted many happy years of her life to her family, and was a friend to all who knew her. She had a fabulous memory of friends and family, being able to relate birthdates, spouses to various relatives or friends, etc. She loved books and was an avid reader. She carried on correspondence with many friends and relatives over her married life. She especially loved bowling, and was a member of senior bowling leagues in Surrey, BC during the nineteen years she lived there, including being record keeper with the bowling league she was part of. She had a friendly personality, and made friends with everyone she met. She was predeceased by the love of her life, husband Norman Joudrey, with whom she celebrated over 37 years of marriage until his death in 1981; second husband James Milldhall; sister Della (Ralph) Wright; brothers Albert (Phyllis) Schleyer; Morris (Ruby) Schleyer; Eldon (Alice) Schleyer; Cedric (Barbara) Schleyer; Earle (Beatrice) Schleyer; George (Eleanor) Schleyer; and Kenneth (Glenna) Schleyer. She is survived by daughter Phyllis (Robert) Chouinard of Liverpool; sons Doug (Sharyn) Joudrey of Bridgewater; Stephen (Linda) Joudrey of Whynott's Settlement; Michael (Kathy) Joudrey of Blockhouse; and Kenneth Joudrey (Sylvie) of Blockhouse; sister in law Phyllis Schleyer of Charlottetown, PEI; grandsons Allan Joudrey of Bridgewater; Jeffrey Joudrey of Vancouver; Kevin Joudrey of Vancouver; Daniel Joudrey of Ontario; Kyle Joudrey of NorthWest; Jeremiah Pittman of South Korea; Brian (Ester) Pittman of Calgary, AB; granddaughters Marina Titus of Hammonds Plains; Lisa (Dallas) Penner of Calgary, AB; Anita Pittman of Halifax; Christa Joudrey (Jared) of Halifax; Stephanie Joudrey of Bridgewater; Ashley Joudrey (Oliver) of Halifax; great-grandsons Dylan Penner; Antonio Pittman; great granddaughters Ocean Titus; Brooke Titus; Victoria Penner; Jazmine Pittman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, Oakhill, Pastor Percy Lake and Jeremy Ring presiding. There will be no visitation. Interment will take place at the Garden of Rest Cemetery, Blockhouse following a short reception at the church immediately after the service.
