Description	:	Services for Eva Frank, 78, Norfolk, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug 12, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk. The Rev. Frank Parrinello will officiate with burial in the Prospect Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday at Howser-Fillmer Mortuary in Norfolk with a 7 p.m. rosary. D., she was the daughter of John (Earnest) Sr (1886-1965) and Marsa (Marsa Mercedes Ziemer 1893-1974) Salmans. She grew up in O'Neill and graduated from O'Neill High School in 1943. She worked for Bethlehem Steel in San Francisco. She married Henry "Hank" Frank on Sept. 12, 1945, in Norfolk. She worked for Montgomery Ward in Norfolk and later retired from Norfolk Beverage Co., in 1991. Mrs. Frank was a member of Sacred Heart St. Mary's Catholic Church in Norfolk. She also was a member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliaries. She was a volunteer and ombudsman for the Norfolk Veterans Home. She also served as a volunteer at Faith Regional Health Services' gift shop and the blood bank. She was a member of the National Bowling Association and Nebraska State Bowling Association. She was the first woman in Norfolk to bowl a perfect game. Survivors include one brother, John Earnest Salmans Jr. (Memorial ID 185538070) of Battle Creek, and one sister, Mary Kimbro of Lee Grand, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2001 and two sisters. Memorials are directed to the Norfolk Veterans Home Library Fund and the American Cancer Society.
