Read More	Mrs. Roy Burr Funeral Held Here Wednesday Ex Creighton Resident Funeral services for Mrs. Roy Burr of Lawrence were held at the Methodist church here Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, the pastor, the Rev. R.B.E. Hill, officiating. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery. Mrs. Burr, a former Creighton resident, passed away at her home near Lawrence, Sunday, June 9. Sketch of her life follows: Evalyn Mae Gentzler was born at Fremont, Nebr., February 14, 1880 and died near Lawrence, Nebr., June 9, 1935 at the age of 55 years, three months and twenty-six days. With her parents, she came to Knox county in the spring of 1892. They settled in Creighton and here she grew to womanhood. She was married to Roy W. Burr at Creighton, October 27, 1903. They moved to Wheeler county and lived there till the spring of 1924, when they moved to the present home near Lawrence. Two daughters and a son, Ruth, Lucille and Aden, were born to the couple, all of whom are living. Miss Lucille Burr is a member of the Creighton Public School faculty. Mrs. Burr united with the Methodist church in Creighton, when a young girl and led a devoted Christian life. A good wife and mother, her loss will be felt by friends and neighbors as well as the immediate family. In addition to her husband and children, she leaves to mourn her passing, three brothers; Frank Gentzler of York; Gurney Gentzler of Homer and Merle Gentzler of Emerson; four sisters, Mrs. Calvin Yorke of Clearwater; Mrs. J.E. Whiting of Clitherall, Minn; Mrs. B.O. Darr and Mrs. W.B Darr, both of west of Creighton. Other relatives and a host of friends are also among the bereaved.
