Description	:	Daughter of Steve and Francis (Uzendoski) Hebda. As a youngster she attended rural grade school and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1946. Van was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Company as an operator and bookkeeper for several years before marring Lowell E. Nesbitt on June 13, 1953, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Fullerton. Van and Lowell settled in Fullerton for a short time where Van continued to work at the telephone company, before following Lowell's career with KN Energy. The couple along with their growing family lived in several different communities including O'Neil, St. Paul, Albion, and Hastings. In 1968 they made their home in Imperial, Nebraska. In Imperial, Van was employed by the Jack and Jill Grocery and the Imperial Auction Market as a bookkeeper before retirement. She was a very active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, teaching CCD, participating in the choir and St. Pats Alter Society. She enjoyed playing cards, golfing, bowling, sewing, baking, and crafts of all kinds. Van especially loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
