Description	:	Evelyn A. Smith, 94, of Gibbon died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Evelyn was born April 13, 1917, in Kearney County to Sophie Torske. On Aug. 30, 1937, she married Horace "Hod" H. Smith. He preceded her in death. Survivors are: son, Robert "Rob" and his wife, Terri, of Gibbon; daughter, Florence "Flossie" Lienemann of Gibbon; brother, Leroy Thompson and his wife, Carolyn, of Alma; sister, Martha Pritchard and her husband, Jim, of Upland; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, son-in-law, Darlo Lienemann, granddaughter, Tami Zimmerman; and great-great-granddaughter, Lillian Rose Merryman.
