Description	:	Evelyn Arlene Coil, 83, of Joliet, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at the Riverstone Hospice Home. The daughter of Arthur and Josephine Angell, Evelyn was born April 28, 1929, in Carlton, Minn. At age four she moved with her mother and siblings to Poplar, Mont., where she was raised and educated. Read More	Evelyn Arlene Coil, 83, of Joliet, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at the Riverstone Hospice Home. The daughter of Arthur and Josephine Angell, Evelyn was born April 28, 1929, in Carlton, Minn. At age four she moved with her mother and siblings to Poplar, Mont., where she was raised and educated. Following High School she received her teacher's certificate from Eastern Montana College. Evelyn married Robert F. Coil in Poplar on Aug. 21, 1949. The couple lived in Culbertson before moving to the Coil Family Ranch near Cohagen in 1952. In June of 1967 they moved to Billings. Evelyn had taught at the Coil School at Cohagen and for 24 years had work at the Billings Parmly Library. She was a voracious reader, enjoyed traveling and collecting rocks and made many long-lasting friendships. Evelyn was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles City. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert on Dec. 18, 1987; two brothers, Gillrock and Willard Angell; and a sister, Beverly Johnson. Survivors include three children, Dee McLellan of Joliet, Robert (Connie) Coil of Vaughn, Mont., and Connie (Rick) Waples of Aguila, Ariz. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Brandon (Tami) Johnson, Dawn (Nathan) Kleinsasser, Shane Weber, Gwen (John) Poole, Kelly (Tim) Stone, Stacy Coil and Charlie Coil; and nine great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and interment will be at Mountview Cemetery Memorial services at Trinity Lutheran Church, Miles City are planned for a later date. Memorials may be made to the Miles City Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
