Description	:	DELMAR- Evelyn Bounds Twilley, 82, of Delmar, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Delmar. She was born September 4, 1929 in Mardela Springs, a daughter of the late Harry and Nellie (Phillips) Bounds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G. Holland Twilley, who passed in 1994; a daughter, Linda Marie Twilley, who passed in 1975; a grandson, Phillip Lowe; and 2 brothers, Sydney and Edgar Bounds. Read More	DELMAR- Evelyn Bounds Twilley, 82, of Delmar, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Delmar. She was born September 4, 1929 in Mardela Springs, a daughter of the late Harry and Nellie (Phillips) Bounds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G. Holland Twilley, who passed in 1994; a daughter, Linda Marie Twilley, who passed in 1975; a grandson, Phillip Lowe; and 2 brothers, Sydney and Edgar Bounds. Evelyn was the owner and operator of Evelyn's Beauty Shop in Delmar, a job she loved for 30 years. She was a past member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church in Columbia and a recent member of Melson's United Methodist Church in Delmar. She was also a past member of the Delmar Lioness Club as well. She was an excellent cook and an outstanding homemaker. Evelyn will be remembered as a woman with a most kind and giving spirit who always made family and friends feel welcome. She loved her family with all of her heart and her strong faith in the Lord was an inspiration to her children. She is survived by a son, Dale H. Twilley of Delmar; a daughter, Lori Twilley Campbell and her husband, Robert of Delmar; 5 grandchildren, Ashley Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Roni Twilley, Caitlyn Twilley and Stephen Lowe; one great granddaughter, Taylor Lowe; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday July 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home in Delmar, where family and friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00. The Reverend Sam McWilliams will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, c/o Mary Lou Covington, 36271 Columbia Road, Delmar, DE 19940 or Melson's United Methodist Church, c/o Amber Dorman, 33211 Melson Road, Delmar, MD 21875.
