She was born March 20, 1927, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Lloyd and Sadie (Burr) Hare and had been a lifetime area resident. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. Thress Loyd, age 87, of North Ridge Road East, Ashtabula, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1927, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Lloyd and Sadie (Burr) Hare and had been a lifetime area resident. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. She enjoyed picnics and going on trips but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Surviving her are three sons, David (Sandy) Thress of Ashtabula, Larry (Pamela) Thress of Jefferson and Jeffrey Thress of Ashtabula; four grandchildren, Rebecca (Fred) Getce, Mathew (Lashua) Thress, Macory Thress and Dustin Thress; a great-granddaughter, Alisa St. Clair; and a sister, Beverly Turner of Ashtabula. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lawrence E. Thress in 1987; her second husband, Gilbert Loyd in 1996; one sister, Winifred Whitt; and four brothers, Algie Hare, Robert Hare, Raymond Hare and Jack Hare.
