On Dec. 10, 1949, she married Kenneth H. Beins in Lexington. Survivors are: sons, Gary Beins and his wife, Lisa, David Beins and Daniel Beins, all of Riverdale, Larry Beins and his wife, Carole, of Alma and Bill Beins and his wife, Anne, of Arapahoe; sister, Dorothy Kincheloe and her husband, Alfred, of Grand Island; brother, Robert Ottman and his wife, Leona, of Kearney; 14 grandchildren;... Read More	Evelyn C. Beins, 78, of Kearney died Friday, July 8, 2011, at St. John's Good Samaritan Center. Evelyn was born Dec. 16, 1932, in Ainsworth to George and Frances (Howerton) Ottman. On Dec. 10, 1949, she married Kenneth H. Beins in Lexington. Survivors are: sons, Gary Beins and his wife, Lisa, David Beins and Daniel Beins, all of Riverdale, Larry Beins and his wife, Carole, of Alma and Bill Beins and his wife, Anne, of Arapahoe; sister, Dorothy Kincheloe and her husband, Alfred, of Grand Island; brother, Robert Ottman and his wife, Leona, of Kearney; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Evelyn grew up in the area and attended school in Overton then Amherst. Evelyn and her husband lived in Lexington until they moved to Naperville, Ill. They moved to Kearney in 1982, and she worked at Eaton Corp until she retired in 1992. Evelyn was an active member of the LDS Church. Evelyn enjoyed traveling and visiting her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, two sisters and one brother. Burial was in the Armada Cemetery, Miller, NE.
