She was born Sept. 12, 1913, in Rochester, the daughter of Charlie and Elizabeth (Tipton) Darr. On Aug. 29, 1932, in Rochester, she married Harold "Bud" Hodge. He preceded her in death July 1, 1990. Mrs. Hodge had been a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Logansport. She enjoyed playing the organ and serving the Lord. She was born Sept. 12, 1913, in Rochester, the daughter of Charlie and Elizabeth (Tipton) Darr. On Aug. 29, 1932, in Rochester, she married Harold "Bud" Hodge. He preceded her in death July 1, 1990. Mrs. Hodge had been a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Logansport. She enjoyed playing the organ and serving the Lord. Survivors include her nieces, Marguitta McLochlin, Rochester, and Marilyn Kiesling, Punta Gorda, Fla.; her great-nieces, Pam and husband Mike Dempsey, who Evelyn resided with for many years, Logansport, and Connie Scharnhorst, Rochester; and her great-nephew, Dennis and wife Becky Grogg, Logansport. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Pauline Easter, Helen Fansler, Marjorie Bryant and Barbara Stewart; and brothers, Howard Darr, and Cleo Darr. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at IOOF Cemetery, Rochester, with the Rev. Andy Weil officiating. Arrangements are by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester.
