Description	:	Mrs. Evelyn Elise Doss Early was the daughter of John B. and Margaret Evelyn "Eva" (nee Wallace) Doss. Her mother died when she was about 5 years old. After her mother's death, she and her younger sister, Rebecca, were raised in the household of Dr. Hiram and Mary (Thompson) Laws of Franklin, Tennessee. In Jacksonville, she also served as president of United Methodist Women and as a church school teacher. She was a beloved wife and mother. Surviving were 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Husband, Irvine, preceded her in death. They were married 46 years.
