Description	:	It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of our wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Evelyn, age 95, of Purcell's Cove, Halifax, went to be with her Lord on November 14, 2018. Born in Bayswater, Lunenburg Co, on May 1, 1923. She was a daughter of the late Robie and Julia Hubley. Mom loved everyone and helped anyone she could. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking and canning. She entered her jams and pickles in different fairs over the years and won many ribbons. Evelyn, age 95, of Purcell's Cove, Halifax, went to be with her Lord on November 14, 2018. Born in Bayswater, Lunenburg Co, on May 1, 1923. She was a daughter of the late Robie and Julia Hubley. Mom loved everyone and helped anyone she could. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking and canning. She entered her jams and pickles in different fairs over the years and won many ribbons. Mom said 'Don't grieve for me, as I'm going to be with my Lord and Savior, and with my family that's gone before me, who I love and miss very much.' She is survived by son, Bill; daughter, Elaine (Emanuel) Lange; and sister, Florence, all of Halifax; grandchildren, Angela (Dean) Timbers, Andrew, Tammy (Colin) Elmer, Warren (Danita) Lange, Kim (Liz) Lange; great-grandchildren, Tali, Miranda, Alicia, Tristan, all of Halifax; Jamie, Samuel, Faith, Kayle (Melissa), all of Ontario; great great-granddaughter, Delta; as well as several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved and much-missed husband, William Carman Sr.; daughters Anna Marie and Ruth Sharon; sisters, Olive, Armenella and Pearl; brothers, Henry, Burnell, Chester and Thomas; grandchildren, Mark and Beth; and great-granddaughter, Suzanna.
