Read More	EVELYN ”EVIE” GLADYS WIRTA October 13, 1925 ˜ October 10, 2018 In Brainerd, Minnesota on October 13, 1925, God blessed Emil and Ella (Rosenlund) Kulla with a daughter, Evelyn ”Evie” Gladys and God called her home to heaven on October 10, 2018 in Vancouver, Washington, just 3 days short of her 93rd birthday. She was the middle of 9 siblings, 4 older - Ted, Esther, Helmi and Carl and 4 younger - Phyllis, June, Donnie and Joy, who have all preceded her in death. Evelyn worked in cost accounting at Honeywell in Minneapolis, Minnesota, until she married Larry Wirta on April 4th, 1955 and moved to Kellogg, Idaho, where they raised their family. Evelyn volunteered at school and then got her degree and taught at the grade school for many years. After retirement, they spent winters in Florida and summers in Idaho, except when they were traveling around the United States, Canada and Scandinavia. Evelyn loved to play the organ and sing Christian songs, read, do crossword puzzles, exercise classes, walk and hike. She enjoyed visiting people and the fellowship with Christian friends, at home and wherever she traveled. Evelyn is survived by sons, Larry of Thornton, Colorado, Dan (Julie) of Brush Prairie, Washington and Mark (Carol) of Greenwater, Washington; daughters, Becky of Vancouver, Washington and Karla of West Palm Beach, FLlorida; 4 grandchildren, Jaret, Trista, Jyles and Jet; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; and grandson, Joshua. Visitation is Wednesday, October 17th, 2018. The funeral is Thursday, October 18th 2018, with both at Hockinson Apostolic Lutheran Church. Published in The Columbian, Vancouver, Washington on October 16, 2018
