She was born Sept. 23, to Everett"Pat"and Dorothy(Poe)Dunwoody in Mahaska County. She was married to the love of her life, Ralph M. Lobberecht, on Aug. 6, 1950, in Eddyville by Rev. Lois Williams. She lived in and around Eddyville all her life. She was a homemaker for many years and raised six children with love before going to work for Walmart and retiring after 20 years. Evelyn was also a member of the First Christian Church in Eddyville. Evelyn is survived by one daughter, Alice(Rodger)Braden; five sons, Herbert(Eloise), F. Dwane(Trena), Ralph(Marsha, deceased), James(Julie)and Ted Lobberecht, all of Eddyville; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Bob(Cathy)Dunwoody; five sisters, Phyllis Arnold, Jane Dykstra, Betty(Vernon)Gay, Peggy(Jack)Van Skike and Loretta Davis(Bob Rouze); one sister-in-law, Bonnie Dunwoody; and several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, "Pat" and Dorothy(Poe)Dunwoody; her huaband, Ralph M. Lobberecht; daughter, Marsha K. Lobberecht; two grandchildren, Keith Eugene and Ralph Matthew; one brother, George; one sister, Juanta; and two brothers-in-law, Bevan Dykstra and Ivan Arnold. Funeral services for Evelyn will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at the First Christian Church in Eddyville; with Revs. Lois Williams and Dennis Durst officiating. Burial will follow the service at Highland Cemetery in Eddyville. Visitation will be held from 11 am-8 pm Tuesday at the Eddyville Funeral Chapel with family present from 6-8 pm. Memorials may be made to Hospice Serenity House of Oskaloosa and to the First Christian Church of Eddyville.
