She was a member of the Keosauqua Christian Church. Surviving: her husband; five sons, Dr. Richard, Davenport; Darrell, Mt. Pleasant; Steven, Burlington; Fred, Mediapolis; and Dan, Enid, Okla.; two daughters, Sue Gilchrist and Deb Kirchner, both of Burlington, Ia.; brother, Fred Burkett, Keosauqua; 20 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Pallbeaers: Sons and sons-in-laws -- Dr. Richard Carruthers, Dan Carruthers, Steven Carruthers, Craig Gilchrist, Eugene Overstreet, Fred Carruthers, Darrell Carruthers, Don Kirchner.
