She was a homemaker, and co-owner of Heltzel Alto Market. She had also worked at voter registration for 12 years. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, going out and dining, and spending special time at her cottage at Lake Manitou. She was born July 7, 1918, in Howard County, to Charles and Mary Bannett Lewellyn. She married Paul Heltzel on April 19, 1936, and he died June 27, 1985. Survivors include two sons, Robert J.
