Description	:	Evelyn Youngson, 91, of Minden died Friday, June 10, 2011, at Bethany Home in Minden. Evelyn was born Aug. 21, 1919, in Kearney County near Minden to John and Mary Katherine (Chantelaw) Andersen. On Feb. 18, 1942, she married Marlin "Mike" Youngson. He preceded her in death. Survivors are: sisters, Helen Woollen of Wilcox, Luetta Bacon of Kearney and Patricia Erickson and her husband, Marland, of Paola, Kan.; and brothers, Verlin Anderson and his wife, Beverly, of Sarasota, Fla., and Roger Anderson and his wife, Patricia, of Kearney. Evelyn was baptized and confirmed at Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Minden. She grew up in the Minden area, attended District 48 near Minden and later attended Minden High School. Evelyn and Mike lived and farmed near Minden for many years. They later moved to Kearney, and Evelyn moved to Bethany Home in 2005. Evelyn was a member of Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Minden. She enjoyed embroidery, fancy work, board games and playing somerset. Evelyn was from a large family and loved family gatherings. Evelyn was preceded in death by her brothers, Art and Al; and sisters, Charlotte Snyder, Marilyn Macklin and Lois Johnson.
