Description	:	Evelyn Lucille Hopkins Chapman, 97, of Charlottesville, died on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. She was born on January 30, 1916, in Louisa, a daughter of the late Meredith Hopkins and Elizabeth White Hopkins. She was married to the late Herman Barrett Chapman Sr. She was a member of the Yanceyville Christian Church. Mrs. Chapman is survived by two brothers, Clifton Conway Hopkins and Russell F. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Louisa officiated by the the Reverend Denny Burnette. The family will receive friends following the service at graveside.
