Born in Hemford, she was the daughter of the late Carmon and Flossie (Smith) Veinot. Mom was a kind, caring and compassionate person. She was always delighted when her family and little ones came for a visit. There was always one or two on her lap. Mom loved being outdoors tending to her beautiful gardens. Born in Hemford, she was the daughter of the late Carmon and Flossie (Smith) Veinot. Mom was a kind, caring and compassionate person. She was always delighted when her family and little ones came for a visit. There was always one or two on her lap. Mom loved being outdoors tending to her beautiful gardens. She loved all the holidays especially Christmas. She would adorn her home with decorations for each holiday. Mom had many jobs over her lifetime. She was a local mail driver for Canada Post, but her true passion was a caregiver, always helping family and friends. She spent many years working at our two local homes, Rosedale Home for Special Care and Lohnes Rest Home. She loved and adored all the residents and her work family. Mom will be sadly missed and forever loved by her children and families. She is survived by children, Lloyd (Mardi), Lorraine (Dereck), Louise, Linda (Dannie), Lori (Neil), Lynn (Stephen); grandchildren, Leslie (Adam), Aaron (Laura Lee), Mitchell (Erika), Kevin (Rebecca), Cody (Jessica), Lisa (Andrew), Becky, Jesse (Courtney); great grandchildren, Austin, Maci, Kinsley, Cole, Lauclin, Ty, Skylah, Brooke, Claire, Bentley, Maveric and baby Holden; brothers Beverly (Carolyn), Richard (Thelma), Bruce, Linwood, Merlin (Laurie) and Carol; sisters, Hazel, Laverne (Bruce), Gladys (Ralph), Leith, Cheryl and Iris. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband James (Bob); sons Leslie and Lee; granddaughter Stephanie; brothers Harold, Leon, Dwayne; sister Rosaline and numerous nieces and nephews.
