Description	:	Evelyn Mae Buettgenbach, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 7, 2017, in Lincoln Nebraska. She was born July 29, 1929 in Havelock, Nebraska, in the little house across from the fire station to Robert “Earl” and Jessie Cecelia (Baker) Buettgenbach. She attended Havelock Elementary School and graduated from Northeast High School in 1947. In July of 1947, she began working in the credit department at Miller & Paine. Read More	Evelyn Mae Buettgenbach, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 7, 2017, in Lincoln Nebraska. She was born July 29, 1929 in Havelock, Nebraska, in the little house across from the fire station to Robert “Earl” and Jessie Cecelia (Baker) Buettgenbach. She retired from Ben Simon’s after 42 years of loyal service. Evelyn was a past Worthy Grand Matron of Eastern Star and was involved with Rebeka’s. She spoke of her Eastern Star and Rebeka's families often and they meant the world to her. She was an active member, in both, to the day of her passing. She loved crossword puzzles, a fresh deck of cards to play a game of solitaire or pinochle, the Huskers, the Packers, and anything to do with sports. She was a devoted and beloved Aunt and Great Aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Shirley Springer, brother-in-law Ivan Springer and nephew John Martin, born at rest. “Yanti” is survived by Nephew Wesley & Tami (Schuetze) Springer, Great Nephew Stephen Springer and Great Niece Stephanie Springer. Visitation with family 4:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, 1/10/2017 Services, Wednesday at 12:30 pm, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
