Evelyn was born in Wilton Junction, IA on January 25, 1928, to Harry and Martha (Hain) Kaufmann Sr. She graduated from Wilton High School. Evelyn married Harold Q. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11 AM at Bentley Funeral Home in Wilton, IA. Interment will take place at the Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery, Muscatine, IA, with luncheon to follow. Evelyn is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter Connie (Ralph) Gilley, her grandchildren: Brandon Creelman of Mediapolis, IA, Brooke (Dave) Manion of San Bruno, CA, Bobby Creelman of Mediapolis, IA, Noah Creelman of Castle Rock, CO and Danielle (Anthony) Richardson of Mediapolis, IA, 2 great granddaughters: Alexis Creelman and Addyson Evelyn Manion and her brother Freeman Kaufmann of Wilton, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, her sister Dorothy Whitmer, her brothers: Fred, Laurence "Unc", and Richard Kaufmann and 3 brothers in infancy.
