Description	:	Funeral services for Evelyn R. Brabec Faltus 94 of Leland, Iowa will be at 1PM Wednesday at Bayview/Freeborn funeral Home. The Rev. Shirley Hoffman Will will officiate. Evelyn died Friday November 21, 2014 at Lake Mills Care Center. Evelyn Rose Brabec Faltus was born January 21, 1920 in Myrtle the daughter of Ignatz and Rose (Krikava) Brabec. She attended and graduated from Albert lea High School in 1938. On May 6, 1939 she was married to Frank Faltus at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Evelyn worked at Sperry-Hutchinson Green Stamp store in Albert lea and also as a homemaker. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church in Lake Mills and active in the church circles. Evelyn was secretary for the Iowa Care Review for the Lake Mills Care Center and a member of the Western Fraternal Lodge No. 44, where she was president at one time. She enjoyed reading, loved to travel having visited every country in the world. Evelyn had a great love for animals and spending time on the farm. Survivors include one daughter and 2 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Edward (Annie) Brabec,Joseph (Gladys) Brabec and Milo (Henrietta) Brabec and daughter Donna Rae Faltus.
