One Son, James (Anna) Tucker of Back Bay, nine grandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Evelyn was predeceased besides her husband, by one son Claude, 4 brothers, Horace, Ralph, Merle and William Hooper and one sister, Muriel Leslie. She was the last member of her immediate family. Evelyn was a hard working women, working for Connor's Brothers as a packer for many years, retiring at the age of 75. She was a life long member of the Seaview Full Gospel Church in Back Bay. She loved reading the Bible and attending church. In her spare time, Evelyn enjoyed gardening, mainly flowers, and feeding the birds. She was a Godly women, loved Jesus with all her heart, taught her family the word of God and prayed daily with her children. She will be sadly missed. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB from where the service will be held from The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 3 pm, with her son-in-law Pastor Victor Leavitt and Pastor Gordon Cooke officianting. Followed by interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home on Tuesday July 4th, from 2-4 and 7-9. In Evelyn's memory donations to a charity of a donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
