Description	:	Obituary: Even Robb was born in Illinois. He went with his parents to Elwood, NE when a small boy and grew to manhood there. He was married to Lucy Belle McGuire of Elwood, NE on February 5, 1896. They made their home on a farm. To this union were born four children: Floyd Erman, Marion John, and Mrs. Fred (Zelo) Archer all of Cherokee. Another daughter died in infancy in 1908. Read More	Obituary: Even Robb was born in Illinois. He went with his parents to Elwood, NE when a small boy and grew to manhood there. He was married to Lucy Belle McGuire of Elwood, NE on February 5, 1896. They made their home on a farm. To this union were born four children: Floyd Erman, Marion John, and Mrs. Fred (Zelo) Archer all of Cherokee. Another daughter died in infancy in 1908. Mr. Robb has lived in Pilot Township for 43 years during which time he has farmed. His wife, Lucy Belle, passed away on February 27, 1931 after a short illness. He and his son, Marion, continued to run the farm for six years, after which he was married to Mrs. Flora Robb [George Robb's widow] of Smithfield, NE on April 1, 1937. They still lived on the same farm until he was taken ill with pneumonia on May 1 and taken to the Sioux Valley Hospital where he passed away on May 8, 1943 at 9:30 am. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Flora, two sons, Floyd and Marion and one daughter, Zelo. Two brothers, Pete and Bert Robb of Smithfield, NE, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as two step-sons, Hudson and Mead Robb. Funeral services were held at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee on Monday May 10 at 2:30 with Rev. John Farnham in charge. Pallbearers were William and John Bergert, Floyd Warburton, Bert Heinen, Jake Lauer and George Stowell. He was buried in Pilot Cemetery.
