Description	:	Everett Daniel Setty, eldest son of John and Maude Cadwallader Setty, was born at Peach Mountain, Peebles, Route 3, on March 31, 1902. At 7:30, Tuesday morning, March 9, 1971, he passed away in Greene Memorial Hospital, Xenia, Ohio, at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 9 days. On June, 1923, he was united in marriage to Mary Blanche Copas, who preceded him in death May 14, 1959. To this union seven children were born. One son, Clarance Arland, passed away in infancy. Those surviving are: three sons, Hartzell, of Portsmouth, Ohio, Bina and Hugh, both of Peebles; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Charles and Mrs. Choloe Rogers, both of Xenia, Ohio, and Mrs. Laura Ashbaugh, of Dayton, Ohio. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Maude Rhoads, of Peebles, 32 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Everett was one of a family of twelve children. He is survived by five brothers, Cecil and Chester, both of Otway, Robert of Cincinnati, Esto and Berlin, both of Peebles, four sisters, Mrs. Nona Workman and Mrs. Violet Tolle, both of Peebles, Mrs. Nora Boldman and Mrs. Opal Myers, both of Blue Creek. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, Arthur, and one sister, Mrs. Lona Boldman. His occupation was farming, from which he derived much pleasure. Even though he had retired, he could not remain idle. He took advantage of every opportunity to help others with their farm work. He had been noticeably ill for only two weeks. It became necessary for him to enter the hospital, then a more serious illness developed which took him within a few hours.
