DUCHESNEAU LEOMINSTER - Everett H. Duchesneau (Red), 88 of 160 Fifth St., died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006 in the Lifecare of Leominster. He was born in Leominster on Jan. 26, 1918, the son of the late J.P. and the late Mabel (Jewett) Duchesneau. Everett served in the U.S. Navy as a gunner's mate first class during World War II. He was a member of St. Cecilia's Church in Leominster and the Leominster Franco-American Club. He was a second-generation owner/operator of the Tri-Sum Potato Chip Company in Leominster, a business founded by his father in 1908 and from which he retired in 1999. In his younger years, Everett was an accomplished skater who enjoyed spending time at the Whalom Roller Skating Rink and the Bright Spot. He was a competitive game player, especially when it came to cards and horseshoes, and loved spending time with his family at his camp at Lake Shirley. He leaves his wife of 61 years, Jeanne I. (Bilodeau) Duchesneau, two daughters and their spouses; one son and his spouse; six grandchildren; one great-grandson and many nieces and newphews. Two brothers and three sisters predeceased him. DUCHESNEAU - On Sept. 26, in Leominster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Sept. 30 at 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held Friday, Sept. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the M.A. Simard & Son Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Everett's memory to St. Cecilia's Church Restoration Fund, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster, MA 01453.
